who will win the democratic nomination?

the weird mix of news stories today about political leaders at home and abroad, made me wonder...why don't the democrats choose ian paisley to run against john "71" mccain? that would be pretty interesting.

i know it sounds ridiculous, but so does the idea of paisley sharing power with martin mcguiness. you never know what the doc is going to next.

The doc has surprised me enormously, and has left me wondering if some kind of perversely favourable organic dementing process has been occurring. Perhaps amyloid plax in his frontal lobes have so compromised his aging brain that his short term and working memory is so deficited that when he sees Martin McCGuinness he has been saying ' I have a son about your age, boy' before giving him Werther's originals, and talking about his primary- one teacher as if she was still alive. Who knows....?

He has indeed been very surpirsing, and it has been with awe and wonder that I have observed the emergence of the chuckle bros. This was unthinkable when were starting university....wow!!

Fair play. I, for one, am glad we live in N.Ireland these days. The doc's apparent moderation has been part of that process and I, for one, sure didn't see it coming.

I hope he goes on to become US president as Beardy suggests he might...but as I understand it you need to be an actor, a saxophonist, or the son of satan for that gig.
